Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maciej Jewtuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Maciej Jewtuszko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Scott!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jewtuszko pinned against the cage. Jewtuszko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jewtuszko slaps away a takedown attempt from Scott, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Roger Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jewtuszko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat.
Maciej Jewtuszko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Scott.
Nice takedown defense from Jewtuszko. No joy for Scott on that attempt.

Scott fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jewtuszko to the ground. Scott is now in Jewtuszko's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Scott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jewtuszko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Scott has Jewtuszko in his guard.
Jewtuszko won't allow Scott to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jewtuszko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jewtuszko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scott has a closed guard, preventing Jewtuszko from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jewtuszko is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jewtuszko wants to stand but Scott has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jewtuszko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jewtuszko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jewtuszko has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.
Scott manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jewtuszko manages to get himself to full guard.
Scott slips nicely into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jewtuszko pushes Scott off looking to stand but Scott dives back in and keeps control.

Jewtuszko won't allow Scott to pass to mount.
Jewtuszko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground.
Scott passes the guard and advances to mount!

Scott is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jewtuszko has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jewtuszko!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scott working for a triangle but Jewtuszko defends it easily.

Scott has his foot on Jewtuszko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jewtuszko works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Scott looking for a guillotine here but Jewtuszko defends easily.
Jewtuszko would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Scott goes for a double leg but Jewtuszko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jewtuszko continues to drive forward.

Scott has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jewtuszko regains guard immediately.
Scott is pushing down on Jewtuszko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jewtuszko is fighting to maintain full guard but Scott has managed to sneak the leg through.

Scott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Scott passes to full mount!

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jewtuszko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Scott with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Scott goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jewtuszko turns into him and now he's in Scott's guard.

Jewtuszko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scott is proving hard to escape from.

Scott has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jewtuszko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Scott is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Roger Scott has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jewtuszko won't allow Scott to pass to mount.
Scott moves into full mount! Jewtuszko won't be happy about that!

Scott has hold of Jewtuszko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jewtuszko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Scott looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Scott is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jewtuszko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jewtuszko shrugs it off.

Jewtuszko is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Scott working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jewtuszko looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Scott! Submission of the night perhaps?
