Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Vines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Gummidge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vines has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gummidge is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vines.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vines shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gummidge misses with a double jab.
Vines shoots in but Gummidge avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gummidge bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vines's head backwards.

Gummidge tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vines swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gordon Gummidge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vines gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gummidge gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
