Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Dibra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alvin Moran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Dibra!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moran with a lazy takedown attempt

and Dibra counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moran's guard now.
Dibra engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Moran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Moran being controlled here, momentarily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Pavel Dibra has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Moran tries to clinch

and Dibra counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Moran!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dibra controls the position.
Moran is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Dibra tries to advance to mount but can't.
You can see the frustration on Moran's face as Dibra controls the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Dibra's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pavel Dibra was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Moran is looking to clinch but Dibra is avoiding it.

Moran misses with a series of wild punches.
Moran tries to clinch but Dibra moves out of range.
Moran misses with a takedown

and Dibra counters with a shoot takedown. Moran fights it but they end up in guard.
Dibra is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Moran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pavel Dibra hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Moran is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dibra sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alvin Moran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moran shoots in looking for a takedown. Dibra tries to sprawl out of it but Moran keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dibra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alvin Moran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moran shoots in but Dibra avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Moran shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dibra pinned against the cage. Dibra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Moran is breathing heavily.

Moran looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dibra!
Moran is looking to take a break and control but Dibra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Dibra counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dibra is stalling in the full guard.
Let's hope that Dibra has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Moran throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Moran fails with an attempt to clinch.
Moran throws a head kick but Dibra moves out of range.
Moran tries to land a front kick but Dibra steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Alvin Moran is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Moran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Moran clinches with his opponent.
Dibra has Moran pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Moran manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Moran is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dibra is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Moran to the mat. Moran regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Dibra stays in close to Moran's body and controls the position.

Pavel Dibra has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pavel Dibra hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Horrible takedown by Moran or perhaps it was just good defense by Dibra which made him look bad.

Moran goes for a double leg but Dibra avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dibra continues to drive forward.

Moran is working for takedown but Dibra is calmly controlling the position for now.
Moran wants to take the fight to the mat but Dibra manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moran goes for a takedown attempt but Dibra pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Moran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Moran is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Dibra counters with a shoot takedown. Moran fights it but they end up in guard.
Dibra is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pavel Dibra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Dibra defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moran.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Moran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dibra tries to avoid it but Moran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dibra to the ground. Dibra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moran is pulling down on Dibra's head. It's preventing any offense from Dibra, at least for the moment.
Dibra slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Moran will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pavel Dibra was stalling too much, according to the referee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Moran is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

and Dibra counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Moran! Dibra smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
