Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Duane Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kisa Kiree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kisa Kiree will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Duane Rowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kisa Kiree!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kiree.
Rowe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rowe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rowe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kiree scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Duane Rowe has been cut.
Kiree tries to clinch but Rowe moves away

and Rowe counters by moving into the clinch.
Kiree goes for a takedown attempt but Rowe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rowe misses with a takedown attempt - Kiree sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duane Rowe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rowe rushes Kiree and presses him up against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kiree tries to lock up and control but Rowe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Rowe prevents Kiree from getting the reversal.

Rowe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kiree for as long as he can get away with.
Kiree wants to hold on but Rowe pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Duane Rowe will probably get the nod.

Kiree jumps guard but Rowe turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Kiree tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rowe defends well and Kiree ends up having to push Rowe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rowe manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Rowe wriggles free and stands up.
Kiree shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rowe sprawls well. Rowe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kiree gets slowly back to his feet.
Kiree is breathing heavily.
Kiree throws a head kick that misses.

Kiree tries to keep at a distance but Rowe has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rowe wants the takedown. Kiree is fighting it off but Rowe persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kiree's guard against the cage.
Rowe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Rowe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kiree wants to stand and escape but Rowe is having none of it.
Rowe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Kiree jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rowe walks away with a smile on his face. Kiree gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rowe fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kiree checks it well.

Rowe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kiree.

Rowe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Rowe manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rowe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kiree sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rowe's guard.

Duane Rowe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kiree is looking to work some ground and pound but Rowe has wrist control.

I would just about give that final round to Kisa Kiree.
I think Rowe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
