Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chinny Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Sepulveda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sepulveda has chosen Bleed it out as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Justin Sepulveda was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Justin Sepulveda !
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sepulveda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Magalhaes keeping full guard, as Sepulveda tries to pass.

Magalhaes is looking for a triangle but Sepulveda pushes his legs off easily.

Sepulveda stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magalhaes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sepulveda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sepulveda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Magalhaes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sepulveda 's guard.

Sepulveda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Magalhaes is aware though and is defending well.

Sepulveda is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Magalhaes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sepulveda defends well.
Sepulveda advances position into side control!

Sepulveda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Magalhaes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sepulveda tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Magalhaes is looking to reverse the position.

Sepulveda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sepulveda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sepulveda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Magalhaes has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sepulveda is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Magalhaes looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sepulveda gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Magalhaes is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sepulveda lets go of the hold and Magalhaes can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Justin Sepulveda !
During a confident post fight interview, Justin Sepulveda thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
