Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lenard Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denzil Trence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denzil Trence!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trence shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Madden pinned against the cage. Madden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Madden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Trence, pushing him back against the cage.
Madden lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Trence tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Madden smiles and moves away.

Madden moves into range and clinches up with Trence.

Madden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Madden avoids the head kick by Trence.

Madden rushes Trence and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Madden gets underhooks to prevent Trence's takedown attempt.
Lenard Madden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denzil Trence.

Madden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Still in half guard, Madden seems content to control.
Madden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Madden stands and throws Trence's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madden tries to get to his feet but Trence is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Madden in his guard.
Madden is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Madden takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Madden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Trence looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Trence is being controlled here.
Trence tries to buck Madden off but Madden is having none of it.
Trence is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Madden off and has taken his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Madden's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Trence is persistently looking for the submission but Madden is defending it well.

Madden finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.

Madden drops back, looking for a kneebar! Trence looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Trence looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Trence!
