Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keneth Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Callahan moves away

and Callahan moves into the clinch.

Callahan successfully pulls guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Callahan has control of Sanchez's left arm, preventing Sanchez from doing any damage.
Callahan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Callahan is controlling Sanchez's posture.
Callahan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanchez!
Callahan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Callahan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sanchez is looking to get to half guard.
Callahan content just to control the position here.

Callahan landing strikes, looking to finish!

Callahan has control of Sanchez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sanchez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sanchez wants to control but Callahan is having none of it.
Callahan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Callahan lands a couple of good shots and Sanchez has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Callahan controlling the positon.
Sanchez tries to escape but Callahan has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Callahan is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sanchez with him. Sanchez is trying to defend but Callahan has an arm under the chin now! Sanchez grimaces and is forced to tap out!
