The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruchy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Multaggert is fending him off so far but Gruchy persists. Nope, Multaggert circles away and we're back to standing.
That kick from Multaggert tenderised Gruchy's leg. Gruchy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gruchy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Multaggert clinches up against the cage.
Multaggert pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Gruchy is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Multaggert lands an elbow just above Gruchy 's eye.
Gruchy blocks an elbow strike from Multaggert.
Gruchy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Multaggert stalls.
Gruchy dodges an elbow strike from Multaggert.
Multaggert lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Dan Gruchy has been cut.
Multaggert fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Gruchy gets control of Multaggert's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gruchy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
