The crowd seem to be enjoying Hammer's choice of entrance music: Birdman - I Run This ft. LIL WAYNE. Jack Hammer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zell Dincht!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dincht throws out the jab.
The crowd cheers as Hammer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dincht doesn't seem phased though.
A head kick misses from Hammer.

Dincht looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hammer!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dincht is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hammer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Hammer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dincht's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hammer wants to sweep but Dincht has passed to side control!
Dincht landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Hammer is trying to buck Dincht off.
Dincht has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dincht in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dincht lands a decent elbow from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammer is trying to control Dincht's posture but Dincht avoids it.

Dincht thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dincht working away.
Hammer tries to buck Dincht off but Dincht is having none of it.
Dincht lands a nice forearm strike.
Hammer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dincht maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hammer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dincht has cracked it and Hammer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dincht!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zell Dincht!
A less than humble Zell Dincht misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
