Bunyan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Five Finger Death Punch-Pride. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reigns will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bunyan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bunyan scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Bunyan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reigns!
Bunyan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reigns is looking to escape.

Bunyan stands up from mount. Strange move.

Bunyan gets tackled into the cage by Reigns. Reigns maintains the clinch.

Reigns breaks from the clinch.
Reigns closes the distance and clinches up with Bunyan, looking for a takedown. Reigns pushes Bunyan against the cage but Bunyan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bunyan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reigns to the mat! Reigns manages to get full guard.
Reigns keeping moving, preventing Bunyan from controlling successfully.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bunyan working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Bunyan passes Reigns's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Bunyan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Bunyan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bunyan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reigns fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Reigns. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reigns is breathing heavily.

Bunyan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bunyan advances to half guard.
Bunyan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bunyan tries to control but Reigns wriggling away.
Bunyan controlling the position easily from mount.

Bunyan is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Reigns is forced to tap! Great finish!
