Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heero Yuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuy has chosen Coma Black - Marilyn Manson as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heero Yuy!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Martin feints and then cracks Yuy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yuy down.
We've been told by Martin's head coaches at K.O. Koala's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yuy tries to clinch there but Martin circles away.
Yuy tries to clinch but Martin is having none of it.
Martin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Heero Yuy has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yuy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Yuy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martin throws out the jab.
Yuy is looking to clinch but Martin is avoiding it.

Martin cracks Yuy with a right hand to the side of the head.
A left lands for Martin.
The crowd cheers as Martin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yuy doesn't seem phased though.
Yuy throws a right hand that Martin ducks under and follows up with a left that Martin also avoids with ease.
Martin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Martin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yuy backs up against the cage.

Yuy is rocked!
Martin cracks Yuy's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Yuy slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Martin can do further damage! This one is done, son!
