Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vincent Vega!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sparraaja gets a takedown into half guard.

Sparraaja is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vega doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sparraaja.

Sparraaja is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Vega has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sparraaja has control of Vega's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vega regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sparraaja is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Vega has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Vega tries to reverse the position but Sparraaja maintains control.
Vega is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Sparraaja lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Sparraaja postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Vega looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sparraaja has hold of Vega's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vega manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sparraaja changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vega looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vega drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vega jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sparraaja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
