Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J Blunts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunts has chosen Meek Mill - Polo & Shell Tops as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcos Duarte has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcos Duarte seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Duarte throws a solid leg kick but Blunts takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Duarte.
Duarte dives in for a single leg takedown but Blunts sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Duarte works on Blunts's body with a couple of short punches.

Blunts feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Duarte has his foot on Blunts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blunts works his way back into a safe position though.

We've been hearing good reports from Duarte's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
