Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bang defends it nicely.

Bang scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Goldman doesn't seem bothered though.
Bang Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Goldman throws a push kick but Bang slaps the foot to one side.
Goldman needs to keep his hands up - Bang had a free shot at his head there.

Bang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Goldman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Goldman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bang regains guard immediately.

Goldman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goldman is trying to get an arm triangle but Bang is defending well.
Goldman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Goldman is looking to take a break and control but Bang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bang is trying to get back to half guard.
Michael Goldman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Goldman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bang, who protects the arm well.

Goldman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Goldman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bang is not content to let Goldman control the position.

Goldman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bang has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Goldman but great work by Bang.
Bang taking a break here but Goldman is having none of it and regains half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goldman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bang is working away from the top position though.
