Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Karlos Reed Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfes Turners! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed Jr dives in for a single leg takedown but Turners sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Turners looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Reed Jr stalling in the clinch but Turners improves position. Reed Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Turners. Reed Jr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Turners pulls him back up using the underhooks. Reed Jr pulls guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Turners stays in close to Reed Jr's body and controls the position. Turners wanted to stand there but Reed Jr had control of the position. Reed Jr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Turners defends well. Turners drops back looking for a leg! Reed Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reed Jr manages to kick Turners off! Turners jumps back into Reed Jr's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed Jr is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Turners rolls with it to try and escape but Reed Jr cranks on the arm and Turners is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
