Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piso Mojado!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh Negi clinches with his opponent.
Singh Negi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mojado blocks it with crossed arms.
Mojado blocks an elbow strike from Singh Negi.

Mojado wants to break free but Singh Negi has control.
Singh Negi lands an elbow just above Mojado 's eye.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Singh Negi.

Singh Negi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Singh Negi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Kshitij Singh Negi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piso Mojado.

Singh Negi lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Mojado tries to score a body lock takedown but Singh Negi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Singh Negi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Mojado decides to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Singh Negi wanted to stand there but Mojado had control of the position.

Mojado is trying to control the position but Singh Negi postures up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Singh Negi lands an elbow inside that Mojado shrugs off.
Mojado blocks an elbow strike from Singh Negi.
Mojado drops down looking for an ankle pick but Singh Negi pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mojado fails with the takedown.
Singh Negi closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mojado counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Mojado misses with a low kick.
Mojado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh Negi wants to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mojado is defended easily by Singh Negi.
The fight stays on the outside here - Singh Negi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mojado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Singh Negi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mojado somewhat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mojado fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Singh Negi checks it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kshitij Singh Negi dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Singh Negi landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Singh Negi gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Mojado takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mojado is still on wobbly legs! Can Singh Negi finish him?
Singh Negi jerks Mojado's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Mojado drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Singh Negi goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Singh Negi because Mojado was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Kshitij Singh Negi!
During a confident post fight interview, Kshitij Singh Negi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
