The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zahard throws a low kick but it's checked well by Roth.
Zahard tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Roth counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zahard is trying to control the position but Roth postures up.
Roth not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Roth pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zahard is keeping the position for now.
Zahard looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Henry Roth.
Zahard tries to clinch up

and Roth holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zahard lands an elbow that stopped Roth in his tracks for a moment.

A nice right hand lands inside from Zahard.
