Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. StPierre tries to avoid it but Francis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag StPierre to the ground. StPierre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Francis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and StPierre counters by moving into the clinch.
Francis is trying to break the clinch but StPierre has him pressed against the cage.
StPierre pulls Francis into guard.
StPierre has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
StPierre keeping moving, preventing Francis from controlling successfully.
StPierre is looking to stand up but Francis isn't so interested in that idea.
StPierre has control of Francis's left arm, preventing Francis from doing any damage.
StPierre doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
StPierre is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as StPierre checks a leg kick.
StPierre shoots in and gets a takedown into Francis's guard.
StPierre wants to control from the top but Francis keeps moving.
Francis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. StPierre is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Francis.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
StPierre wants to stand but Francis is controlling his arm.
Francis is trying to get back to half guard.
StPierre controls the position.

StPierre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Francis looking for a sweep but StPierre has passed into full mount! Oh no!
StPierre lands a big shot there that rocks Francis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, StPierre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Francis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for StPierre on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
StPierre lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Francis hang on?

Francis is desperately trying to improve his position but StPierre has a good base and remains in mount.
StPierre looking to finish Francis with some ground and pound. This is bad for Francis!
StPierre controlling from mount.
StPierre wants to finish this one by submission but Francis is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from StPierre.

StPierre controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
StPierre connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
StPierre lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

StPierre breaks from Francis's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Francis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Francis is rocked!
StPierre looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Oh Francis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
StPierre cracks Francis with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
