Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostas Papadakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putin comes to the cage accompanied by V. Putin - Blueberry Hills. Kostas Papadakis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papadakis sizes up Putin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Papadakis lands with a hook. Putin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Papadakis leaves Putin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Vlad Putin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papadakis scores with the left hand. Putin knows he should have avoided that one.
Putin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Danga de danga de dang - Papadakis scores with a four punch combination!
Papadakis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Putin throws out the jab.

Papadakis connects with a body shot that sends Putin's belly button to the back.
Papadakis pivots, looking for a leg kick but Putin is out of range and Papadakis settles back down.
Putin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Putin throws a right hand that misses
and Papadakis counters with a stiff right hand.
Papadakis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Papadakis slaps away a takedown attempt from Putin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Papadakis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Papadakis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Putin circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A jab from Papadakis finds it's way through Putin's defenses.
Papadakis lands a two punch combo.
Papadakis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Papadakis. That snapped Putin's head back.
We've been told by Putin's head coaches at BLACKSMITH GYM - THE 25 Coach Las Vegas Mega-Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Putin misses with a double jab.
Putin throws an off balance right hand
letting Papadakis counter with a right hand.
Putin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Papadakis throws a series of punches but Putin avoids them all with ease.
Papadakis misses with the combination.
Papadakis throws a shot to the body.
Papadakis gets caught napping as Putin dives in and scores a takedown. Papadakis manages to retain guard.
Putin wants to control from the top but Papadakis keeps moving.
Putin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Papadakis looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Putin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Papadakis's guard.
Papadakis is staying active underneath Putin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Putin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Papadakis!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Putin lands a couple of good shots and Papadakis has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Putin has Papadakis flattened out and is raining down punches.
Putin is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Papadakis won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Putin off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vlad Putin!
Vlad Putin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
