The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemingway drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like James Hemingway has been cut.
Hemingway throws out a loose jab but Kothciushco uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hemingway goes for a double leg but Kothciushco avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kothciushco continues to drive forward.

We've been informed that Kothciushco has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

James Hemingway's cut is getting worse.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hemingway is defended easily by Kothciushco.
Hemingway has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hemingway loses concentration momentarily and Kothciushco pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Hemingway crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kothciushco finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
