Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalti Eyj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Steuermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eyj comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Sexy and I Know It. The crowd seem to be enjoying Steuermann's choice of entrance music: Ein Prosit. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Wolfgang Steuermann!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steuermann misses with the combination.
Eyj dodges the punch combination from Steuermann.
Steuermann is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Eyj's half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Eyj is trying to get back to full guard.
Steuermann is trying to work for a kimura but Eyj is defending well.
Eyj moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eyj is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Eyj will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Eyj has control of Steuermann's left arm, preventing Steuermann from doing any damage.

Steuermann throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Eyj looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hjalti Eyj.
Steuermann shoots in for a double leg but Eyj sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Eyj misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steuermann gets a double leg takedown into Eyj's guard.
Eyj working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steuermann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Steuermann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Steuermann got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eyj has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steuermann has managed to get both his arms back between Eyj's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steuermann wants to control from the top but Eyj keeps moving.
Eyj has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Steuermann should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Eyj has tightened it up now! Steuermann should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
