Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remy Bonjasky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pitbull Murder!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murder shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bonjasky counters with a leg kick.

Bonjasky feints and as Murder raises his hands in defense, Bonjasky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bonjasky slips nicely into half guard.
Murder looks winded!

Bonjasky's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Remy Bonjasky.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murder doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bonjasky counters with a nice double leg into side control. Murder won't be happy with that.

Bonjasky goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Murder rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bonjasky's guard! Nice work there by Murder!
Bonjasky wants to improve his position but instead Murder has moved into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bonjasky wants to improve his position but Murder is controlling well.

Murder is trying to work for a kimura but Bonjasky is defending well.
Bonjasky wants to control but Murder is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Murder wants to work for an arm triangle but Bonjasky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Murder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bonjasky is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bonjasky has escaped and now he's on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bonjasky slips a nice elbow through Murder's hands, connecting with Murder's forehead.

Bonjasky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Murder napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bonjasky wants to control but Murder is keeping him busy.

Bonjasky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Murder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

BOOM! Bonjasky connects with a massive shot to the dome!
