The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox throws a right hand that Peligrino ducks under and follows up with a left that Peligrino also avoids with ease.
Cox tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Peligrino defends well and Cox ends up having to push Peligrino into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cox goes for a takedown in the clinch but Peligrino prevents it.

Peligrino lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cox down.
