That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamura has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Well, with Matah on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Takamura is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Matah is persistently looking for the submission but Takamura is defending it well.

Matah is cranking Takamura's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Takamura! He's tightened the choke and Takamura is tapping out!

Our winner, Hiruku Matah, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
