The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price lands a right hook to the body.
Price thows a body kick. Steel tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Good leg kick by Price there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Price misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Steel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Price.

Price feints and then cracks Steel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steel down.

Steel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Steel counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Price dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Steel avoids the body shot from Price.
Price pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steel is out of range and Price settles back down.

Price looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
David Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Price is thwarting Steel's attempts to control the position.
Tommy Price is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Steel tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Price has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
