Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Furlotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Brindley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlotte comes to the cage accompanied by Bring me to life. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Furlotte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicky Brindley!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brindley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Furlotte is fending him off so far but Brindley persists. Nope, Furlotte circles away and we're back to standing.

Brindley instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Brindley.

Brindley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brindley tries to close the distance and clinch but Furlotte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Furlotte tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brindley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Brindley shoots in and gets a takedown into Furlotte's guard.
Brindley stays in close to Furlotte's body and controls the position.
Furlotte has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brindley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Furlotte dives on top into guard.
Brindley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Brindley controls Furlotte momentarily but Furlotte frees himself.

Brindley told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Furlotte keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brindley's head.

Brindley wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Furlotte is now in half guard.
Brindley is refusing to be controlled, as Furlotte sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Furlotte lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Furlotte looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Brindley wants to improve his position but Furlotte is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Brindley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Furlotte postures up and lands a big shot to Brindley's brow.
Furlotte content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Furlotte lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Brindley keeping moving, preventing Furlotte from controlling successfully.

Brindley pushes Furlotte off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Furlotte tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brindley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circling - Brindley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brindley throws a series of punches but Furlotte avoids them all with ease.

and Furlotte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Furlotte swats away the attempt to clinch by Brindley.
Brindley throws a lazy right hand but Furlotte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Furlotte stuns Brindley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Brindley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Furlotte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brindley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Furlotte jabs at Brindley's body.
Brindley shoots for a double leg takedown but Furlotte sprawls well. He's pushed Brindley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brindley looks winded!
Furlotte misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brindley looks to land a combination but Furlotte avoids it well.
Furlotte fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Furlotte circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brindley throws a shot from downtown. Furlotte moves away and avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Furlotte counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Furlotte lands a jab to the nose.
Brindley dives in for a single leg takedown but Furlotte sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Brindley tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Furlotte lands a body punch in the clinch.
Furlotte lands with a right to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Furlotte.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Furlotte.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Furlotte digs a right hand underneath Brindley's ribcage. Brindley let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Furlotte throws a punch but it's blocked by Brindley.

Brindley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Furlotte counters with a nice leg kick.
Furlotte lands a lovely overhand right.

Brindley is rocked!
Kevin Furlotte is winning the standup battle so far.
Furlotte drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Brindley right on the button. Brindley goes down! Furlotte follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Furlotte gets the win via TKO!
