Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonic Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgars Simans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sonic Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edgars Simans!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Simans misses with a shot to the body
and Boom counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Simans attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Simans closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Boom.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Simans missing with knees to the body.
Simans blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Boom doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Simans blocks an uppercut.
Boom misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boom gets underhooks to prevent Simans's takedown attempt.
Simans goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Boom lands a hook that snaps the head of Simans backwards.
Boom has had enough of the clinch but Simans keeps him there for the moment.
Boom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Simans swings for the body but Boom moves out of range.
Simans misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simans throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Boom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Simans lands a jab to the nose.
Simans scores with a push kick.
Simans is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boom defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Simans.
Simans shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Simans is keen to just control but Boom is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simans throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Boom to regain full guard.
Simans working some strikes from top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simans controls from within his opponent's guard.
Simans trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Boom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Simans on the ground.

Boom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Simans connects with a couple of short punches.
Simans wants to control from the top but Boom keeps moving.
Simans loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Simans postures up in Boom's guard and throws a big left but Boom blocks it.
Simans throws a big right hand that misses.
Simans slips nicely into half guard.
Simans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Boom definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Simans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Boom is trying to control but Simans passes into side control!
Boom taking punishment in the form of punches.
Simans is working to tighten his grip on Boom's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Boom has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Simans is really squeezing tight and eventually Boom passes out! Simans breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
