The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holtz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A clash of legs there as Emup blocks the low kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Emup is defended easily by Holtz.
Emup shoots in and drives through. Holtz sprawls well.

Holtz drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Holtz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Emup napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Emup gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Holtz to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Holtz connects with a nice short shot to Emup's temple.
Holtz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Holtz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Emup looks calm but he's in trouble here. Holtz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Emup is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Holtz lets go of the hold and Emup can pop his arm back in it's socket.
