Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, LT Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blue Rak!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers scores with a nice right hand.
Rak looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rogers digs a good hook to Rak's body.
Rogers looks for a takedown but Rak sprawls well.
Rak showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rogers.
Rak misses with an uppercut

and Rogers counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rak can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rak looks to move to half guard but instead Rogers has passed into mount! Damn!

Rogers with a couple of short strikes.

Rogers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rogers breaks from Rak's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Rak in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Rak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rogers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rogers fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
