Hendricks is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alab ng Puso-Abra. Johny Hendricks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks closes the distance looking to clinch

and Simon counters with a single leg into guard. Hendricks didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
