Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jessie Fuentes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jessie Fuentes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Light tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fuentes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Light misses with a body punch

and Fuentes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fuentes stalling the fight.
Fuentes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Light just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fuentes is trying to drag Light to the mat but Light just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fuentes has Light pressed against the cage, preventing Light from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Light has had enough of the clinch but Fuentes keeps him there for the moment.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fuentes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Light doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Light manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Light has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fuentes is proving hard to escape from.

Fuentes looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Light puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Light decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Luke Light seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Light clinches with his opponent.
Fuentes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Light's efforts to push away.
A battle for position here, against the cage.

Fuentes manages to break the clinch.
Light throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fuentes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fuentes clinches up against the cage.

Light wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fuentes tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jessie Fuentes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Light is trying to break the clinch but Fuentes is controlling him.

Fuentes working for a triangle but Light defends it easily.

Fuentes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Light defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Luke Light will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Light looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fuentes moves to clinch but Light breaks away
and Fuentes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Light Rushes Fuentes and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Fuentes is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Light Piles on the pressure and Fuentes crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Luke Light started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
