The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kralaiev throws a head kick that misses.
Kralaiev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hussein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hussein lands in his opponent's guard.
Kralaiev wants to stand up but Hussein is controlling him.
Hussein wants to stand but Kralaiev is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hussein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kralaiev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hussein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hussein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kralaiev wants to stand up but Hussein is controlling him.

Hussein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kralaiev looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kralaiev looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kralaiev!
Hussein wants to get back to his feet but Kralaiev drags him back down.
Hussein is trying to get back to half guard.

Kralaiev stands up.

Kralaiev takes the fight into the clinch.
Hussein goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hussein misses with a punch to the body.
Hussein tries to throw a body punch but Kralaiev avoids it by throwing Hussein back against the cage.
Hussein can't get the takedown.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kralaiev.
Hussein jumps guard but Kralaiev turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hussein tries to break the clinch but Kralaiev is controlling the position.
Hussein goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kralaiev prevents it.
Ivan Kralaiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krammer Hussein.

Kralaiev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hussein tries to keep at a distance but Kralaiev has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hussein tries for a takedown but Kralaiev manages to get underhooks.

Hussein has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kralaiev avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kralaiev darts in and clinches Hussein up against the cage.
Hussein has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kralaiev after a bit of a struggle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kralaiev is pressed up against the cage. Hussein has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kralaiev down to the mat. Kralaiev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kralaiev cracks Hussein with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hussein looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kralaiev finish him?
Hussein looks winded!
Kralaiev wants to clinch up but Hussein keeps it at a distance.

Kralaiev throws a sloppy head kick and Hussein moves out of range easily.

enabling Kralaiev to counter with a crisp jab.
Hussein fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kralaiev closes the distance and clinches.
Hussein pushes Kralaiev back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kralaiev unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hussein lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kralaiev is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hussein is defending well for now.
Hussein has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kralaiev avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kralaiev lands a big knee! That's hurt Hussein! Oh, he's all over the place! Kralaiev lands another knee that sends Hussein to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
