PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Fallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fallon has chosen Between the Hammer and Anvil as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallon shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Fallon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fallon.
Fallon thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Silva is rocked!
Silva walks straight into a right hand from Fallon - that's dropped him! Fallon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Silva from any more punishment! Silva complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
