The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Artzing or perhaps it was just good defense by Clarke which made him look bad.
Artzing throws a combination. Clarke tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Conrad Clarke has been cut.
Artzing tries to clinch but Clarke is having none of it.

Clarke is trying to trip Artzing. He has hold of a leg but Artzing is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Clarke persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Clarke has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Artzing is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Clarke.

Artzing takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Clarke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Artzing stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
