The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Genus closes the distance and clinches.

Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Genus is defended easily by Brown.
Brown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Genus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Genus tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Brown takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Genus to the mat! Genus manages to get full guard.

Brown decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Genus, up you get!
Genus misses with a head kick.
Genus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Genus.

Genus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Genus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Genus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Brown drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Brown as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Genus screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Brown! Nice submission victory there!
