Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Don't You Give Your Love Away . Montoya is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by El Toro. On his way into the cage it seems that Victor Brown has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Victor Brown seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.
Montoya lands a jab to Brown's midsection.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Montoya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Montoya throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Montoya scores with a nice head shot.
Brown tries to move into range but Montoya moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Montoya wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Montoya gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Montoya connects with a leg kick. Brown looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Montoya dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage!
Hidalgo Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montoya moves away.
Montoya lands with a nice body punch.

Brown has control of Montoya's left arm, preventing Montoya from doing any damage.

Montoya is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Brown scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Montoya does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brown is trying to control. Montoya wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Montoya has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Montoya with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Montoya is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown wants to free his trapped foot but Montoya is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Montoya is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!
Montoya is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Brown defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Montoya has got his arm under Brown's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Brown has spun round into Montoya's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

A close round but Hidalgo Montoya will probably get the nod.

Brown scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Montoya - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Montoya. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Montoya turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Brown shoots in but Montoya avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hidalgo Montoya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Montoya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
