The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker swinging wildly here.
Vladic throws a chopping leg kick but Walker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Walker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vladic can pounce on him.
Vladic throws out a leg kick but Walker moves out of range and Vladic only half commits.

Vladic's coach down at SWF GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vladic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Walker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vladic's calf.
Walker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Walker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Walker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Vladic is able to avoid easily.

Walker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vladic's sensitive parts.

Vladic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walker.

Jamie Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Walker throws a body punch but Vladic moves out of range.
Walker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Walker throws a nice looking combination but Vladic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Vladic counters with a good low kick that Walker was not able to check.
Walker shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Vladic throws a leg kick but Walker moved away.
Vladic lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vladic throws a low kick but it's checked well by Walker.
Walker lands a nice shot to the body.
Vladic misses with an attempted mid kick.
Vladic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vladic takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Vladic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vladic there as he acknowledges the shot.

The cut above Marko Vladic's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Vladic throws a jab but it's blocked by Walker.
Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Vladic's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Vladic walks into a jab.
Vladic throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Vladic walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Walker rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Vladic has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Marko Vladic's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marko Vladic's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
