PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Wild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wild has chosen Type O Negative - Love You to Death as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen blocks a jab.
Wild walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Allen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Allen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Allen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Allen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Wild throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wild wants to stand but Allen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

That was a close round but I would say that Barry Allen will probably get the nod.

Allen is trying to trip Wild. He has hold of a leg but Wild is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Allen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Allen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wild. That did some damage!

Wild lands a big uppercut and Allen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Allen looks OK. Wild waves Allen back to his feet!
Wild connects with a stiff jab that staggers Allen - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
