The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Johansson misses with a few strikes there.
Nunn shoots in but Johansson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johansson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nunn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johansson defends it nicely.
Johansson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Johansson gets caught flat footed, as Nunn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Nunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johansson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nunn tries to clinch but Johansson moves out of range.
Nunn dives in and grabs Johansson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johansson pushes down on Nunn's head and hops out.

Alexander Johansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nunn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nunn there as he acknowledges the shot.
Johansson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nunn had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
