PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toowoomba Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Project (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Toowoomba Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Toowoomba Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Jones as he connects with a hook.
Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones wants to clinch up but Project keeps it at a distance.
Project missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
Project wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jones stands and steps away. Project gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Project pulls his leg out and moves away.

Project is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.

Jones is rocked!
Project lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Project to keep the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Test Project dominated that round.
That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
A jab from Project finds it's way through Jones's defenses.
Project waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones.
Project connects with a jab.
Project wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Project feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Project finish him?!

and Project counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Jones! He's just covering up as Project starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
