Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Kalinowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalinowski has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brad Kalinowski struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kalinowski looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kalinowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gracie manages to get to full guard.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kalinowski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kalinowski's back instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kalinowski is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
