The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laros is trying to trip Zion. He has hold of a leg but Zion is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Laros persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Zion is bucking up trying to escape but Laros cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Laros really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zion moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Laros doesn't manage to clinch there - Zion circles away.
Tenor Laros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laros's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kartjan Zion's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
