Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uwe Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Horizon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant's entrance music is Wu Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M.. A fine choice. Horizon has chosen Bring your whole crew as his entrance music. Evan Horizon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Grant counters with a nice double leg into side control. Horizon won't be happy with that.

Grant shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Horizon is trying to defend but Grant finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Horizon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circle momentarily. Horizon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Horizon wants to land a leg kick but Grant is out of range.
Horizon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Grant is out of range and Horizon settles back down.
Horizon throws a looping overhand right but Grant ducks down to avoid it.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Horizon.

Horizon is pressed up against the cage. Grant has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Horizon down to the mat. Horizon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Grant chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Horizon can pounce on him.
Horizon cracks Grant with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Horizon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Grant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horizon moves away.
Horizon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Horizon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Horizon has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Horizon motions for Grant to come forward. Horizon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Grant tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Horizon swivels and escapes.

Horizon tries to close the distance and clinch but Grant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Grant drops back, looking for a kneebar! Horizon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Horizon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Horizon!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Uwe Grant.

Evan Horizon spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
