The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustus closes the distance and clinches up with The Bod, looking for a takedown. Augustus pushes The Bod against the cage but The Bod circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rod The Bod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nero Augustus.

Augustus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Augustus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Augustus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

The Bod has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Augustus has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Augustus has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing The Bod to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Augustus is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - The Bod pulls down on the head and he's put Augustus to sleep! This one is all over!
