Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Van Der Varrt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Randolph!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Van Der Varrt.
Van Der Varrt throws a nice looking combination but Randolph bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Randolph misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van Der Varrt fails with the takedown
and Randolph counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Randolph looks at the referee who does nothing so Randolph lands a crushing right that sends Van Der Varrt to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Randolph!
