Jones has chosen Dirty Beat-Black Eyed Peas as his entrance music. Harley Tran has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harley Tran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones is looking to clinch but Tran is avoiding it.

Jones clinches.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Tran turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones.
Jones wants to break free but Tran has control.
Jones tries to pull guard but Tran forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Harley Tran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tran is keeping busy.

Jones tries to pull guard but Tran holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Jones manages to break the clinch.

and Tran counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is trying to control Tran's posture but Tran avoids it.
Jones tries to improve position but can't.

Jones sneaks back into half guard.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Tran has control of the leg.
Tran stops Jones from getting back to his feet.
Jones has his hands clasped together around Tran's back. He's all about the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tran manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jones feints and as Tran raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jon Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jones throws a body punch but Tran moves out of range.
Jones fails to land the takedown.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tran manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones is standing up over Tran. Tran looks to escape but Jones dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Jones dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jon Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jones tried to score with a low kick but Tran checks it.
Jones tries to clinch but Tran is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jon Jones.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tran is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Tran circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Tran counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones has control of Tran's left arm, preventing Tran from doing any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Harley Tran wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Jones shoots in and bounces Tran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Harley Tran has been cut.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tran as he jumps to the side.
Harley Tran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Jones shoots in but Tran avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Tran's guard.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones prevents Tran from getting back to his feet.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jones wants to control from the top but Tran keeps moving.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tran stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tran wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Tran counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Jones looking for subs off his back but Tran has passed one foot through into half guard.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Tran is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Tran gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tran swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Tran, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Tran against the cage but Tran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Jones looks for a takedown but Tran sprawls well.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
