The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Tanghe or perhaps it was just good defense by Carlsen which made him look bad.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carlsen. Tanghe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tanghe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Tanghe with that takedown attempt.
Carlsen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tanghe is fending him off so far but Carlsen persists. Nope, Tanghe circles away and we're back to standing.
Tanghe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carlsen is looking to clinch but Tanghe is avoiding it.
A shot to the body from Tanghe misses

and Carlsen counters with a head kick that drops Tanghe to the mat! Tanghe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carlsen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tanghe is still on wobbly legs! Can Carlsen finish him?
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Carlsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carlsen throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Tanghe crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
