Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frij Arko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Smach Kaboom!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arko has closed the distance and engaged Kaboom in a clinch.
Arko manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kaboom preventing the sweep.

Kaboom controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kaboom trying to control the position from guard on top but Arko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Smach Kaboom was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Horrible takedown by Arko or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaboom which made him look bad.
Kaboom closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Arko to the mat! Arko manages to get full guard.

Arko tries to kick Kaboom off in order to stand up. Kaboom Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Arko tries to clinch but Kaboom moves out of range.
Arko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kaboom.
Arko shoots in but Kaboom avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Arko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frij Arko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Arko throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kaboom.
It looks like Smach Kaboom has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kaboom tries to pull guard but Arko holds him up against the cage and eventually Kaboom drops back down to his feet.

Arko is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kaboom can't fight it off and eventually Arko manages to take the fight to the floor. Kaboom looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've been informed that Kaboom has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Arko checks a leg kick.
Kaboom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arko but Arko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Arko looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Arko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frij Arko will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Smach Kaboom's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kaboom throws an off balance right hand
and Arko counters with a series of strikes. Kaboom will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kaboom misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Arko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Arko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kaboom closes the distance and clinches up with Arko, looking for a takedown. Kaboom pushes Arko against the cage but Arko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kaboom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arko's waist but Arko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaboom off to one side.
Kaboom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Arko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arko lands in his opponent's guard.
Arko wants to control from the top but Kaboom keeps moving.
Arko is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kaboom is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Frij Arko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Arko closes the distance and pushes Kaboom back into the cage.
Arko breaks from the clinch.
Arko goes for a double leg but Kaboom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kaboom continues to drive forward.
Arko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kaboom to keep the fight standing.

Kaboom jumps guard but Arko stands there with Kaboom around his waist. Kaboom gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
