PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. With My Mind kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Brown!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
Davidson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.

Davidson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brown did well to prevent Davidson getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Brown wants to sweep but Davidson has passed to side control!
Davidson has control of an arm but Brown manages to advance to Davidson's back!
What can Davidson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Davidson really is a fat lump.

Davidson is trying to get back to his feet but Brown has full control of the position and if anything, Davidson has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Brown is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Davidson is defending well though. Brown let's go of the attempt for now.

Brown wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Davidson uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Brown looks winded!
Davidson has Brown pulled in close to control his posture.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davidson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brown is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Davidson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brown is looking to defend but Davidson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brown! Davidson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brown taps out and this one is all over!
