The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plas misses with a looping right.
Richtofen throws a leg kick that is checked
and Plas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Richtofen connects with a body shot.
Richtofen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Richtofen throws a sloppy body shot
and Plas counters with a good low kick that Richtofen was not able to check.
Richtofen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Edward Richtofen has been cut.
Plas throws a low kick but Richtofen avoids it.
Plas misses with a double jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Plas misses with a kick to the body.
Richtofen lands a nice hook to Plas's body. Plas takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Richtofen looks for the body kick but Plas saw that one coming.
Richtofen fails to land with a series of punches.
Plas ducks under a wild hook from Richtofen.

Richtofen throws a head kick that Plas semi-blocks.

It looks like Vanden Plas has been cut.
Plas throws a lazy right hand but Richtofen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Plas looks to land a right hand but Richtofen moved out of range.
Richtofen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Richtofen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Plas counters with a body kick.
Plas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A solid leg kick lands there for Plas.
A big right from Plas misses.
Plas throws a leg kick which misses Richtofen's front leg but catches the back leg as Richtofen tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Richtofen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Plas thows a body shot but no joy.

Plas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Richtofen.
Richtofen throws a front kick that sends Plas stumbling back into the ropes.
Richtofen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Plas pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Richtofen misses with an uppercut. Plas saw that one coming.
Richtofen catches Plas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Richtofen just misses with a punch to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Richtofen closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Plas out cold! Plas corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
